Overview

Ukrainians.dach is a volunteering / collaboration project that aimed to bring together Ukrainians who had to flee their homes due to the ongoing war with russia, and Germans who were willing to provide support to those refugees.

It's a service that unites Ukrainians who had to leave their homes and move to Germany due to the war, and Germans who willing to provide support.

Task

The goal of the project was to create a platform that simplifies the integration process of Ukrainians in Germany by providing assistance with housing and employment search. Most of the refugees was struggling with a language barrier, so we had to keep it in mind.

The biggest challenges was to create a complex search system, combined on a single platform multiple roles types, such as refugees, volunteers and corporations / small business owners.

Solutions

Develop a web platform with role-dependent user interface.
Simplify the integration process of Ukrainians in Germany by providing assistance with housing and employment search.
Include multi-language support.

Moodboard and general style

For this project, I focused on creating a welcoming environment through the use of a soft corners on the components. Color scheme was inspired by the colors of the Ukrainian national flag.

High-fidelity mockups

After completing initial research and wireframing, I progressed to creating high-fidelity mockups that provided a more detailed representation of what the final product would look like.

I prioritized the user experience and ensured that every component was clear and simple to use.
